Float glass (Low Iron)

During the production process float glass flows from a furnace onto a horizontal bath of tin at 1,000 °C. The contact surface between the tin and the glass is completely flat. This gives the float glass its uniform visual appearance. The glass continues down a cooling tunnel so it remains completely free of internal stress.

Possibility to temper

The thermal tempering process used to manufacture tempered glass makes it much stronger than ordinary glass.

Opt for an anti-reflective (AR) coating. HORTICLEAR^TM can additionally be provided with a one-sided or two-sided anti-reflective coating.
